Quilted Photography* or Quiltography is the neatest thing and people are intrigued when they see them! Up close
they appear to be a work of modern art using fabric and quilting as the medium. Seen from a distance, the image magically appears. (Squinting at
the finished hangings gives the affect of seeing it at a distance. Try it with the provided samples.) In an average-sized room, images in smaller
hangings appear quite easily. The larger hangings require a fairly large area to show to the best advantage.
In selecting a subject for your hanging, singles objects with high light contrast or side lighting show up best. However, the original photo can contain several people or objects and
I can edit it to show just the portion that you want. I have included the original photos for the examples shown.
Care of your Quiltography is very simple. They cannot be laundered, but because they are works of art, it should not be necessary. Tumble in your clothes dryer on the air setting
about once a year to remove dust.
Allow approximately four to six weeks from the time your order is placed to receive your custom
Quiltography. It will arrive with a hanging tube on the back to accommodate a curtain rod or dowel and UV protected. Prices vary depending on the
